Largest city and summer capital of Jammu & Kashmir, it lies in the Kashmir Valley on the banks of the Jhelum River. Surrounded by beautiful hills and a lot of greenery Pahalgam is situated around 90 KMs away from Srinagar city. The town of Pahalgam is extremely tourist friendly and is situated at the confluence of the Lidder and Sheshnag River. It is also the starting point of annual Amaranth Yatra. Major attractions include Aru valley, Betaab Valley, Pahalgam golf course, horse riding to Baisaran and many more activities.

It is a captivating hill station in Ganderbal district. Sonamarg literally means ‘meadow of gold’. The Sindh river flows through it and is also a major staying point for camping enthusiasts. Horses and ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas glacier. It is also the take off station for drive to Ladakh and a base for undertaking the Yatra to the Amaranth cave.

A tourist destination and hill station located in Budgam district approx 45 Kms from Srinagar. The name “Doodhpathri” means Valley of milk. The water flowing through the place has a milky appearance from the distance and remains cold throughout the year. It is a slopy grassy landscape with streams running over large stones. The famous Tosamaidan, lies in the west of Doodhpathri.
